In 2020, I bought a home office printer and began keeping a dream journal for the first time. Both felt intrusive. In trying to track the eerieness of new types of pandemic-specific machinery and dream images moving in, I spent the fall of 2020 cataloging materials that I capture, file, and typically forget. Dream Machines is an acordian zine composed of screenshots and images from my iPhone camera roll between March and November of 2020. Using these unconscious or forgettable fragments, my goal is to archive a type of limited history for myself.
